Born on 29.11.1973 in Varna. Graduated in Bulgarian Philology from Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" in 1996. From 1997 to 2006, she taught Bulgarian language and literature at the Fourth Language High School in Varna. Since 2006, she has been teaching courses such as "General Bulgarian as a Foreign Language", "Bulgarian for Medical Purposes", "Clinical Communication", "Communication in Medical Practice", and "Communicative Skills" at the Department of Foreign Language Teaching, Communication and Sports at MU – Varna. She also lectures on Bulgarian grammar (in English), communication in medical practice, and communicative skills. Holds a Third Professional Qualification Degree (2006).
In 2014, she earned a PhD in Bulgarian Language from Sofia University with a dissertation titled "Reading Comprehension in Bulgarian as a Foreign Language for General and Academic Purposes with a View to the ECL Exam System". Author of the monograph Contemporary Linguistic and Communicative Strategies in Medicine Advertising, which earned her the academic rank of associate professor in 2018. Her main interests are in Bulgarian for Specific Purposes, advertising and PR, sociolinguistics, psycholinguistics, text linguistics, and testology. Fluent in English, French, Polish, and Russian.
Has 35 publications in Bulgarian and international journals. Co-author of textbooks in general and specialized Bulgarian. Participant in many national and international research forums.
Member of the European Consortium for the Certificate of Attainment in Modern Languages (ECL) – Pécs, Hungary, and expert in Bulgarian as a foreign language.
