Senior Lecturer Slaveyah Tchavdarova Goranova was born in Sofia. She graduated the American College of Sofia with English as her first foreign language and Spanish as her second, along with advanced studies in Bulgarian language and history. She holds a U.S. Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences. She earned Master's degrees in Philology in English, Spanish, and Bulgarian from Paisii Hilendarski University of Plovdiv. She also obtained the teaching qualification “English Language Teacher" from University of Veliko Tarnovo “St. Cyril and St. Methodius".
She has worked as a lecturer (Senior Lecturer in English, Adjunct Lecturer in Spanish for Anglophone students, and Adjunct Lecturer in Spanish Translation), as well as a translator and an expert in international cooperation. Her scientific interests include foreign language teaching, phonetics and phonology, and social sciences. Since 2019, she has been teaching specialized English to students in the programs of Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, and Health Management at the Medical University “Prof. Dr. Paraskev Stoyanov" – Varna.
