Биография

In 1985, she graduated from University of Veliko Tarnovo “St. Cyril and St. Methodius" with a gold medal and earned a Master's degree in Russian Philology. In 1994, she obtained a Bachelor's degree in English Philology from the Pedagogical Institute Konstantin Preslavski in Shumen, and in 2014 she graduated with honors from University of Veliko Tarnovo “St. Cyril and St. Methodius" with a Master's degree in English Philology – Linguistics and Translation.

She has served as Director of the Private Vocational High School “BusinessBank School," as an English language instructor at “Zlatna Kotva Consult" Ltd. – Varna in training courses for technical, officer, and ship service personnel, and as a part-time English lecturer at the Technical University – Varna. From 2007 to 2015, she worked as a Senior Lecturer at Varna Free University “Chernorizets Hrabar," teaching general and specialized English to psychology students. She later took the post of Erasmus+ Coordinator in the Department of International Cooperation at the University of Economics – Varna, where she taught Business Psychology to Erasmus students and participated in international projects, exhibitions, and academic mobilities in Slovakia, Poland, Spain, Kazakhstan, Romania, Slovenia, Tajikistan, Serbia, and more.

In 2022, following an applicant selection process, she became an English language lecturer at the Department of Foreign Language Teaching, Communication and Sports at the Medical University – Varna.

She completed a scientific teaching internship as part of an academic mobility program at the University of Granada, Spain. She has also taught specialized English for psychologists at Casa College, Nicosia, Cyprus.


Публикации

She has presented papers on specialized English at international academic conferences at the University of Niš, Serbia, and the University of Economics – Varna. She is the author of Shall We Dream? – a textbook on specialized English for psychologists, as well as various articles. As part of the EU TEMPUS international project, she has developed materials on the methodology of foreign language teaching.

Her main academic interests lie in the field of teaching foreign languages for academic purposes.​
