Svetla Slavova graduated high school in the town of Nova Zagora, Sliven region. In 2002 she obtained a master's degree in "Biotechnology" with honours at theUniversity of Food Technology (UFT) – Plovdiv.Professional development as an assistantprofessor at the Department of Biology at Medical University Varna "Prof. Dr. Paraskev Stoyanov" started in 03.2010. From 2024 she works as a researcher in a scientific project financed by the Science Fund at Medical University Varna on topic “Investigation on tissue expression of selected microRNAs in colorectal cancer".In 2024, she was enrolled as a doctoral student in the doctoral program "Molecular Biology".In 2025, she started a specialization in "MedicalBiochemistry" at the Department of Biochemistry, molecular medicine and nutrigenomics, Medical University- Varna.
