In 2005, she obtained a diploma as an assistant pharmacist from the Medical College - Varna, and in 2016 – a master's degree in Pharmacy from the Medical University “Prof. Dr. Paraskev Stoyanov"- Varna.
2021, Ivalina Vassileva acquired a specialty in the field of healthcare - “Analysis of medicinal products" at the Medical University - Sofia.
In 2024, she successfully defended her dissertation on the topic: “New aspects in the pharmaceutical analysis of Quinine and some of its oxidation products" and obtained the educational and scientific degree “Doctor".
For the period 2016 - 2021 she is an assistant professor in the department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Faculty of Pharmacy, at the Medical University - Varna and, since 2025, she has been a chief assistant professor in the same department.
