Assist. Prof. Magdalena Pesheva was born in Yambol. She graduated from high school in 2012 at the “Georgi St. Rakovski" School in Yambol with honors and acquired a third degree professional qualification as 'Economist – Informatics'.
In 2018, she graduated from the Faculty of Pharmacy of the Medical University "Prof. Dr. Paraskev Stoyanov" - Varna and obtained a Master's degree in Pharmacy.
Since 2018, she has been working in a community pharmacy.
In 2019, she was elected secretary of the Regional Pharmaceutical College - Varna, and in 2022 she was re-elected to the same position.
Since 2021, she has been teaching as an assistant professor in the Department of "Organization and Economics of Pharmacy" at the Medical University "Prof. Dr. P. Stoyanov" in Varna. She leads practical sessions for pharmacy students in the following disciplines: “Social Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Legislation," “Pharmacoeconomics," “Medical Devices," and “Pharmaceutical Marketing". In the master's program “Transfer of Technology and Innovation in Pharmacy," she leads practical sessions “Health Assessment Technology" and “Development of Innovative Pharmaceutical Products and Devices."
In 2023, she obtained a specialty in "Organization and Economics of Distribution and Pharmacy Practice". In 2023, she was enrolled in the PhD program in "Pharmacoeconomics and Pharmaceutical Regulation".
In 2023, she received a prestigious award from the Bulgarian Pharmaceutical Union in the category “Master Pharmacist of the Year“.
