Assistant professor Tanya Kazakova was born in 1991 in the town of Burgas, Bulgaria. In 2010, she graduated with highest honours and was awarded with a Gold Medal from the English Language High School “Geo Milev" in Burgas. In 2016, she obtained a Master's degree in Pharmacy with honours from the Faculty of Pharmacy at the Medical University "Prof. Dr. Paraskev Stoyanov"– Varna.
After graduation, she started her professional career as a community pharmacist. Since 2023, she has been a full-time PhD student at the Department of Organization and Economics of Pharmacy and a resident in the specialty "Organization and Economics of Distribution and Pharmaceutical Practice". In 2024, she won a competition and was appointed to the academic position of “Assistant Professor" at the Department of Organization and Economics of Pharmacy, thе Faculty of Pharmacy, Medical University – Varna.
