Assoc. Prof. Anna Todorova was born on March 13, 1980, in Varna, Bulgaria.
In 2004, she obtained her Master's degree in Pharmacy from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Medical University – Sofia.
Her academic career began in 2011, after a competition for the position of “Assistant Professor" in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Faculty of Pharmacy, at the Medical University "Prof. Dr. Paraskev Stoyanov" – Varna. In 2016, she won a competition to hold the position of “Associate Professor" in the professional field of Pharmacy at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Medical University – Varna.

Assoc. Prof. Anna Todorova's main scientific areas of interests include social pharmacy, rational use of medicines, generic medicines policy, pharmaceutical care, health-related quality of life in patients with socially significant diseases, and the assessment and prevention of occupational stress among pharmacists.
