Assist. prof. Iliyana Linkova completed her secondary education in 2011 at the Peyo Yavorov Language School in Silistra, studying English and German. In 2015, she graduated with a bachelor's degree in International Economic Relations, and in 2016, she completed a master's degree in Public Finance at the University of Economics - Varna. In 2024, she successfully defended her dissertation titled "Circular Migration of Health Professionals - Attitudes, Challenges and Perspectives in Bulgaria" at the Medical University - Varna in the professional field 3.7. Administration and Management, doctoral program "Organization and Management Outside the Sphere of Material Production (in Healthcare).
In 2023, after winning a competition, she was selected as an assistant professor at the Department of Healthcare Economics and Management.
She holds seminars in bachelor's and master's programs of the Faculty of Public Health in Marketing in Healthcare, Marketing Communications and Public Relations, Marketing Research, Social Marketing and Entrepreneurship, Marketing Analysis and Strategies, Introduction to Scientific Information and Research, Statistical Analysis in Healthcare.
Since 2015, she has been involved in various scientific and educational projects of the Medical University - Varna, including the project "Migration of Health Professionals - Challenges and Perspectives for the Healthcare System in Bulgaria", funded by the Science Fund of the Medical University - Varna, the project "Creating a Multidisciplinary Educational Environment for the Development of Specialists with Integral Competencies in the Field of Biomedicine and Healthcare", funded by Operational Program "Science and Education for Smart Growth" and "Researchers in the Knowledge Triangle", funded under the Horizon 2020 program.
