Graduated from the National High School for Humanities and Arts "Konstantin Preslavski" - Varna with focus studies in History, English, Latin and Old Bulgarian in 2006. He completed higher education as a Bachelor in “Philosophy" (2010) and a Masters in “History of Philosophy" at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" in 2011. He also graduated as a Master in Law from Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" in 2015.
In 2018, he completed a master's program in "Public Health" at Medical University - Varna, and the following year he defended his doctoral dissertation on the topic "Ownership of Patient Information in the Context of Big Data" in the field of higher education 7.4 "Public Health", professional field 7. "Healthcare and Sport", with which he obtained a doctoral degree in "Public Health Management". He obtained the academic position of "Chief Assistant" in 2020. Martin Mirchev has a recognized specialty in "Medical Informatics and Healthcare Management" since 2024. He holds the academic position of "Associate Professor" since 2025.
Martin Mirchev teaches the disciplines "Medical Ethics" (also Medical Ethics and Deontology), Ethics, Ethics in Public Health, Bioethics and Artificial Intelligence to students from various specialties and courses in all faculties of the Medical University "Prof. Dr. Paraskev Stoyanov" - Varna.
