Ch. Assist. Prof. Stanislava Emilova Hadzhieva was born in 1979 in Devin.
Graduated from the Medical University of Varna in 2002, and specialized Pediatrics at the University Hospital "St. Marina" - Varna from 2003 to 2008.
She has been working as an assistant professor at the Department of Hygiene and Epidemiology of the Medical University "Prof. Dr. Paraskev Stoyanov" - Varna since 2014.
She teaches students from the Faculties of "Medicine," " Public Health" and "Medical College," as well as students from English language training programs.
In May 2019 she successfully defended her PhD thesis on the topic: "Factors determining attitudes about immunization and vaccination among parents of children up to 7 years old"
Acquired a specialty in "Pediatrics“in 2009. Currently, she is specializing in Nutrition and Dietetics at the Department of Hygiene and Epidemiology at the Faculty of Public Health of the University of Varna. Her main professional and scientific interests are in the field of disease prevention in childhood, vaccination, nutrition and hygiene of children and adolescents.
Dr Stanislava Hadzhieva's researches were presented in more than 10 publications and at over than 10 national and international scientific forums mainly related on the parental attitudes towards vaccination and the influence of various factors on their formation. She also has publications related to public attitudes towards vaccines against COVID-19 in Bulgaria in the past year.
