About the area
Albena is a Black Sea resort situated north from Varna and south from the old-style town Balchik. It has been originally built as a resort 60 years ago and has a uniform and unique architectural style. The resort is 5-km long, 150 m wide beach with fine sand. Sea depth does not exceed 1.6 metres at a distance up to 100–150 metres from the beach. The tourist season lasts from May untill October. In addition to its excellent beaches and relaxing environment, Albena offers proximity to the picturesque seaside town Balchik and Cape Kaliakra – the easternmost point of the continental EU.

40 km NE from Varna Airport – trip duration 30 min.
Shuttle transport will be available from Varna Airport to the conference venue (approx. price 40 Euro).

Your booking may be cancelled free of charge until the 23rd of May. Hotel cancellation policies: in case of late cancellation the hotel charges a cancellation fee equivalent to one night's stay at the hotel.
SAFETY
All participants must hold a certificate of full vaccination.
We strongly encourage everyone to bring masks and rapid antigen tests that will allow testing if needed.
If a participant is quarantined the organisers will not be able to cover the costs of the quarantine if beyond the duration of the meeting.
