Prof. Jason Madan from the UK will Deliver Two Public Lectures under the MUVE-TEAM Project of MU-Varna

Prof. Jason Madan - Director of the Centre for Health Economics at Warwick Medical School (UK) is going to deliver two public academic lectures at MU-Varna on 18 and 19 March. The lectures will present an in-depth analysis of significant issues in the field of Health Economics and Health Policy. The event is implemented under project No BG-RRP-2.004-0009: “Medical University–Varna: Enhancement of Translational Excellence Achievement in Medicine (MUVE-TEAM)" - item 3.3. International Cooperation in the Strategic Areas of Higher Education. On 18 March at 11:15 am, at First Auditorium of MU-Varna, Rectorate Building, Prof. Madan will deliver a lecture on: Financial Burden of Illness and Health Care Seeking - Understanding and Reducing Catastrophic Health Costs for Patients? On 19 March at 11:15 am, at First Auditorium of MU-Varna, Rectorate Building, Prof. Madan's lecture will be focused on Mental Health and Well-Being: Do We Underinvest? How Can We Make the Case for Greater Investment? Each lecture will be followed by a 30-minute Q&A session, which will provide an opportunity for a profound scientific debate. The lectures will be held in English with translation into Bulgarian. The lectures are open to students, lecturers, researchers, professionals and all interested individuals who wish to learn about current challenges in the field of Health Economics and Policy.
