Graduation of 92 Alumni of the Class of 2023 from the Faculty of Dental Medicine at MU-VarnaThe graduation of the thirteenth Class of the Faculty of Dental Medicine at Medical University–Varna took part on 7 October at an official ceremony. Ninety-two alumni, including twenty-seven graduates from the English-Language Training Programme, took the Hippocratic Oath. In his academic speech the Rector of MU-Varna Prof. Dr. Svetoslav Georgiev congratulated the alumni and urged them to strive for high standards in their profession, to master and upgrade their skills every single day, to be open to all innovations in science and technology. “You are the bridge between innovation and patients! Moreover, you are the only ones bearing the responsibility for their health. Remember that the relationship between a doctor and a patient is built on mutual trust and respect!" the Rector of MU-Varna underlined in his speech. The student with the highest academic distinction of the Class is Dr. Boryana Angelova, who received the “Top Student of Class 2023" Award from the Rector of MU-Varna. On behalf of her colleagues, Boryana Angelova expressed her gratitude to the lecturers for the knowledge, experience and skills gained during their studies and wished her colleagues, “Look for your true selves, build on your knowledge and skills, follow your heart, be self-critical, be humane, and observe the Hippocratic Oath." Bozhidar Kasabov, Viktor Savov, Samuil Samuilov and Mihail Bachvarov were awarded plaques and honorary diplomas for active student activities and high merits for strengthening the reputation and prestige of the University. During the festive programme, students at the Faculty of Dental Medicine and high school students at the National School of Arts “Dobri Hristov"–Varna greeted the alumni of the Class of 2023 with their musical performances.
