Delegation from the Kingdom of Jordan Paid a Visit to MU – VarnaA delegation from the Kingdom of Jordan, headed by H.E. Dr. Hassan Al Barmawi – Honorary Consul of the Kingdom of Jordan in Bulgaria, visited MU – Varna on 17th September 2021. The prospects for cooperation between MU – Varna and the universities of Jordan in the field of academic exchange and the opportunities for admission of students from the Kingdom in Varna were the focus of the meeting with the Rector of the University Prof. Dr. Valentin Ignatov and the Director of Academic Affairs Directorate Prof. Dr. Albena Kerekovska. The guests showed interest in the organisation of practical training at MU – Varna in relation to the state of emergency due to the pandemic and were impressed by the methods of training at the educational institution. Prof. Dr. Albena Kerekovska acquainted the guests with the scope and structures of MU – Varna, as well as with the large number of international students from different countries, including four students from the Kingdom of Jordan. The representatives of the delegation expressed their readiness to contribute to the promotion and extension of the relations and cooperation in the field of education and partnership with MU – Varna. So far more than 34 000 students have graduated from MU – Varna, and currently approximately 6 200 students are being trained, 1 800 of whom are international students coming from more than 50 different countries.
