The Festival of Sails is to be held on 20, 21 and 22 August at Port Varna. The event includes Photo Exhibition Full Moon Regatta, Marine Art Workshops, Boat Sailing and Observation of the Full Moon Regatta.
PROGRAMME
1.Photo Exhibition Full Moon Regatta
You will have the opportunity to enjoy the best photos of the winners and participants in the photo competition during the most romantic Full Moon Regatta.
2. Wooden Boat Workshop (5:00 pm-9:00 pm)
Colour your own sailboat!
Everyone will be able to create and colour a wooden boat inspired by his/her own idea of a model and design!
3. Recycle Art Academy (5:00 pm-9:00 pm)
Eco-Workshop or how to turn waste into art?
When waste becomes art!
4. Boating Knots Workshop (5:00 pm-9:00 pm)
You will have the opportunity to immerse yourselves in the art of boating knots!
Being able to tie boating knots is one of the most essential skills of a good sailor!
5. Sailing trip and first steps in boat sailing (5:00 pm-9:00 pm)
Welcome and immerse yourself in the magic of sailing under the sails!
Everyone willing will have the chance to board a sailing boat, to gain first-hand experience and feel the magic of this sport and to observe the Full Moon Regatta.
The sailing will take place in the Gulf of Varna, with an experienced instructor, within 30 minutes.
You are required to pre-register on site from 5:00 pm to 8.00 pm by the festival team! The organisers do not guarantee a place for everyone, nor can they define the exact time of departure from the shore! Seats are limited up to four people aboard. Everyone under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult!
Free entrance! All workshops and boat sailing are free!
