106 alumni of the Faculty of Dental Medicine of MU – Varna received their diplomas from the Dean Prof. Dr. Stefan Peev at an official ceremony.
The event took place on 16 October, in strict compliance with all anti-epidemiological measures, hence the students were separated in two different auditoriums.
The graduating Doctors of Dental Medicine in the 11th class of the Faculty are thirty-five.
"Dear alumni, this day has marked not only the academic finale of your education at one of the most prosperous and state-of-the-art universities in Bulgaria, but also the beginning of a new and challenging professional future. The University has provided you with education of uncompromising quality that is commensurate with the European standards. Go ahead boldly, led by your aspirations that blaze a trail!" with these words the Rector of the University Prof. Dr. Valentin Ignatov addressed the graduates in his solemn speech.
The graduates swore in the moral values of the ancient healers, led by the Dean of the Faculty Prof. Dr. Stefan Peev, and made a promise to work in compliance with the principles of responsibility, ethics and humanity.
The students graduating with excellent GPA in the Class are seven, and amongst them the top student is Doriana Nedyalkova, who addressed her lecturers and colleagues with deep appreciation and gratitude.
The president of the Student Council at MU – Varna Bozhidar Kasabov awarded Iva Yordanova, Justin Jenati and Ralitsa Nikolova for their active participation in the student life.
Prof. Dr. Dimitrichka Bliznakova – a long-standing member of the academic staff, a member of the Faculty Council, head of a Training and Research Sector, and a lecturer in Paediatrics for all students at the Faculty of Dental Medicine at MU – Varna, was distinguished with the Dean's Award Maximi Meriti Causa for her overall contribution to the Faculty.
