As tradition dictates, the Museum of the History of Medicine will once again celebrate the Day of Herbs on 24 June. The highlight of the 2026 edition will be the participation of students from the Department of Foreign Language Teaching, Communication and Sports at Medical University–Varna. A host of specific herbs and spices used in the cuisines of different nations will be presented in the courtyard of the Museum of the History of Medicine.
The Museum traditionally welcomes thousands of children from Varna and across the country throughout the summer months of July and August. The organisers of green schools, summer camps, and field trips select this one-of-a-kind Bulgarian museum as a preferred destination.
The event is a part of the anniversary calendar through which the Faculty of Public Health is celebrating its 25th anniversary.
