The students of MU - Varna achieved consecutive wins in the beach volleyball and tennis competitions at the 21st Varna Universiade.
The beach volleyball tournament took place on 24th April, where the students of MU - Varna ranked first and second in the women's and men's competitions respectively.
At the tennis tournament, held on 28th April, the contestants from Varna Medical University won first and third place in the women's and second place in the men's competitions.
In compliance with the epidemiological requirements, the organisers of the competitions decided the overall Winners' Cup not to be awarded this year. Nonetheless, the students of MU - Varna have won the leading positions in all of the sports – streetball, athletics, football, swimming, beach volleyball and tennis.
The preparations for participation at the National Universiade Stara Zagora 2021, which is scheduled for the end of May, will soon be in full swing.
