ON CONDUCTING SEMESTER EXAMINATION SESSIONS
FOR THE SUMMER SEMESTER OF ACADEMIC YEAR 2020 / 2021
To the Attention of International Students
at Medical University – Varna
Dear students,
In relation to the forthcoming semester examination sessions (regular, re – sit and liquidation) for the summer semester of academic year 2020 / 2021 for full – time study programmes, in order to conduct them in accordance with the introduced anti – epidemic measures while ensuring the quality of the examination process, the Order No Р-100-262/26.04.2021 of the Rector of Medical University – Varna was issued, according to which:
1.Semester examination sessions during the summer semester of academic year 2020 / 2021 (regular, re – sit and liquidation) for full – time study programmes shall be conducted in – person (face – to – face) according to the timetable approved by the Academic Council, in compliance with all anti – epidemic measures, introduced by an Order of the Minister of Health, in force at the time of conducting the examination, and the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Preventive Measures, Annex No 1 to Order No Р-100-132 / 05.03.2020.
2. By way of exception, at a proposal of the heads of Departments / TS, approved by the Dean of the Faculty / Director of the College / Affiliate, semester examinations may be conducted in an electronic environment in disciplines in which this is possible while ensuring the quality of the examination process.
3. In case of introduced anti – epidemic measures restricting the possibility to enter / move / reside freely within the territory of the country, as well as other objective reasons, the conduct of semester examinations for full – time study programmes may be performed in an electronic environment, subject to the authorisation of the head of the principal unit concerned / Director of Affiliate / DFLTCS, at a proposal of the heads of Departments / TS or based on a written reasoned application by the student.
