Scholarships shall be awarded in accordance to Ministrial Concil Decree N 90 of May 26, 2000 on the conditions and procedure for providing scholarships to students, doctoral students and specialists from state higher educational institutions and scientific organizations and the Rules for granting scholarships at the Medical University – Varna.

Eligible applicants are students - Bulgarian citizens and citizens of member states of the European Union and the European Economic Area space, accepted for higher education in Medical University of Varna.

Eligible applicants for scholarships are students, who have successfully passed all examinations in accordance with the academic curriculum till the beginning of the semester which they apply for, and their GPA from the previous two semesters (for first year students – the GPA from winter semester) is not lower than Good 4.00.
Important: STUDENTS WITHOUT PASSING ALL THE EXAMS ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO APPLY FOR ANY TYPE OF SCHOLARSHIP.

In order to submit their applications, the students MUST provide Certificate for Bank Account, issued by Bulgarian Bank Institution.
Important: CERTIFICATES for BANK ACCOUNTS, ISSUED BY FOREIGN BANK INSTITUTIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
