Research activities in
the field of Cardiology, Rheumatology, Gastroenterology and Oncology are being conducted
at the Department of Propedeutics of Internal Diseases. In recent years three dissertations
have been defended - 2 in the field of Cardiology, 1 in the field of Oncology,
in Japan. The total number of publications of the Department exceeds 250, and over
the last 2 years - 25 publications each year. Two monographs on “Biomarkers and
Prognosis of Heart Failure” were issued last year. A total of 20 participations at national and
international conferences have been implemented, including participations at
European Forums of Cardiology and Oncology. The Department works in
collaboration with the Clinic of Internal Diseases and the Department of
Neurology.
