Valentina Kaleva graduated from Medical College - Varna, majoring in "Sanitary Inspector" in 1992. In 2005, she obtained a Master's degree in "Public Health" at the Medical University "Prof. Paraskev Stoyanov." She holds two Bachelor's degrees in "Business Administration" and "Health Care Management". She has over twenty years of experience in state health control in the Regional Health Inspection - Dobrich and the Regional Health Inspection - Varna.
Since March 2015, she has been an assistant in the Academic Sector "Public Health Inspector" at the Medical College - Varna, affiliated with the Medical University "Prof. Paraskev Stoyanov" - Varna.
In 2021, she defended her doctoral thesis on the topic: "Training and Professional Realization of Public Health Bachelors" and obtained the educational and scientific degree "Doctor" in the scientific specialty "Management of Public Health."
She has a degree in "Medical Informatics and Health Management".
Her main professional and scientific interests are related to public health control and protection activities.
