SPECIALTY "REHABILITATOR"
The specialty "REHABILITATOR" at the Medical College of Varna prepares medical professionals for the application of preventive and therapeutic-rehabilitative measures using modern physiotherapy methods to restore the anatomical integrity and functional balance of the body.
The theoretical training is provided with a modern material base, and the clinical training takes place in treatment and health facilities that meet the regulatory requirements of the Republic of Bulgaria.
The curricula and teaching methods are periodically updated in accordance with global practices.
Rehabilitators find employment in medical centers, diagnostic and consultative centers, multidisciplinary hospitals, sanatorium centers, centers for prolonged treatment, spa resort centers, social institutions for children with disabilities, sports clubs, sports facilities, and individual practices.
Graduated rehabilitators can continue their education to obtain the educational and qualification degrees of "Bachelor" and "Master" in "Management of Healthcare" and a Master's degree in: "Rehabilitation, Balneotherapy, Wellness and Spa" and "Health Management and Medical-Social Care."
