Dr. Mehmed Hadjiveli was born on October 16, 1982 in Kubrat, Bulgaria. He graduated from high school in 2001 at the Secondary School “Nikola Obreshkov” in Razgrad with honors. During the period 2001 – 2007 he studied medicine at the Medical University – Sofia. After graduation he started working in the First Clinic of Surgery of University hospital “Pirogov” Sofia as a doctor specializing in general surgery. In 2014 he acquired a specialty in “General Surgery”. In he started working at the First Clinic of Surgery at the University Hospital “St. Marina”. He also started working as an assistant at the Department. In 2019 he acquired a speciality “Thoracic surgery”.
Dr. Mehmed Hadjiveli has participated in over 20 scientific papers and posters at conferences in the country and abroad on the following topics: hiatal hernia, laparoscopic adrenalectomy, appendectomy, VATS in pleural empyema and others.
He is a member of the Bulgarian Medical Union
