She graduated from "St. Kliment Ohridski" High School in 1993. She graduated from the Medical University "Prof. Dr. Paraskev Stoyanov" - Varna in 1999 and acquired the educational and qualification degree: Master of Medicine. In 2001 she began her professional career as a doctor at the Emergency Medical Service, Airport - Varna. For the period 2000-2004 she was a Clinical Laboratory registrar at the Medical University - Varna. During the same period she also completed a three-month specialization (November, 2001- February, 2002) at the "London Royal Hospital" and "St. Bartholomew's Hospital" - London. In 2004 she acquired a specialty in Clinical Laboratory and was appointed as the head of the MDL "Clinical Laboratory" - Multidisciplinary hospital for active treatment "St. Anna-Varna" and manager of the SMDL "Nadezhda" - Varna. She developed her professional qualifications through additional specializations at Churchill Hospital, Oxford, UK (June, 2004- August, 2004), Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, USA (2006), Cheddar Sinai Hospital, Los Angeles (2012).
Since 2017, she has been a part-time assistant, and since 2022, she has been appointed as a full-time assistant in the Department of Clinical Laboratory, MU-Varna.
Scientific interests:
- Clinical - laboratory diagnostics in male and female infertility.
- Clinical - laboratory diagnostics in patients in intensive care.
Additional information:
- She is fluent (written and spoken) in English, which she uses both in her daily practice as a clinical laboratory physician and in her scientific and teaching activities.
