Stefaniya Terzieva graduated from Medical University "Prof. Dr. Paraskev Stoyanov", Varna in 1990 with a master's degree in Medicine.
In 1991 she began her professional carrier as an assistant professor at the Department of Anatomy, Histology and Embryology at the Medical University "Prof. Dr. Paraskev Stoyanov", Varna. .
She received a specialty in "Anatomy, histology and cytology" in 1996.
S. Terzieva has two specializations (1993/94 and 1996/97) at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (Germany) and defended her PhD thesis there in 2001.
She is a chief assistant professor at the Department of Anatomy and Cell biology at Medical University "Prof. Dr. Paraskev Stoyanov" and teaches “Human Anatomy and Histology" and “Cytology, general Histology and Embryology". Her research topic is the subchondral bone density as a morphological parameter of the articular stress.
