Born 13.07.1973. Graduated secondary education in 1992 at the French Language School in Varna. Graduated from higher education in 1998 at the Medical University of Varna. Since 01.1999, he has been a specialist in general surgery at the Second Clinic of Surgery at the "St. Marina" Hospital - Varna, at the Department of Surgical Diseases of the Medical University of Varna. Since 2004, he has been appointed as a resident at the Second Clinic of Surgery at the "St. Marina" Hospital - Varna. Recognized specialty in surgery in 2005. Since 2007, he has been an assistant professor at the Department of Surgical Diseases, and in 2011, a chief assistant professor at the same department. In 1998, he completed an internship in Besançon, France - pediatric diseases and vascular surgery. In 2001, in Brussels, Belgium - a 3-month internship in liver surgery. Main scientific interests: in the field of laparoscopic surgery, upper and lower endoscopy, biliary tract surgery. In 2013, he defended his dissertation on the topic "Diagnostic and therapeutic strategy in patients with cholangitis" for the acquisition of the ONS - "doctor".
In 2015, he acquired the title of "Associate Professor" In the period 2016-2023. he is the Head of the Board of Abdominal Surgery - Department of Surgical Diseases
In 2024, he defended his dissertation on the topic "Postcholecystectomy syndrome - a current view on an "old" problem. Diagnostics and modern therapeutic strategy."
