Doctor Mila Kostova-Tsankova was born on April 19, 1990 in Silistra. In 2009, she graduated with honors from the “Peyo Yavorov" Language High School in the city of Silistra, studying English and German. In 2015 she graduated medicine at the Medical University of Varna. Between years 2015-2016 she worked as a doctor in the Emergency Department of the “St. Marina" University Hospital - Varna. Since 2016, she has been enrolled as a resident in the “Clinic of Endocrinology and Metabolic Diseases" at the “St. Marina" University Hospital - Varna where she works to this day. She was an honorary assistant at the Department of “Internal Diseases" at the Medical University of Varna in the period between 2017-2018. In May 2023, she became a specialist in “Endocrinology and Metabolic Diseases". Since the year of 2023 she is a full-time assistant and she is enrolled as a phD student at the Department of Endocrinology, Second Department of Internal Medicine, Medical University of Varna.
She is a member of the Bulgarian Medical Association and Bulgarian Association of Physicians.
