Assist. Prof. Nikola Georgiev Kulishev, MD, was born on May 13, 1993, in the town of Isperih, Bulgaria. He graduated from the High School of Foreign Languages "Exarch Joseph," with a specialization in English and German.
He earned his medical degree from the Medical University "Prof. Dr. Paraskev Stoyanov" – Varna.
In March 2022, following a competitive selection process, Dr. Kulishev began his medical career as a physician-resident at the First Clinic of Neurology at University Hospital „St. Marina" – Varna.
In September 2023, after successfully passing a competitive procedure, he was appointed as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Neurology and Neurosciences at the Medical University "Prof. Dr. Paraskev Stoyanov" – Varna.
His primary professional and research interests include cerebrovascular diseases, demyelinating disorders, and neurodegenerative diseases of the nervous system.
