Dr Tatyana Cvetkova is an Assistant Professor of Medical Parasitology at the Department of Infectious Diseases, Parasitology, Dermatovenereology of the Medical University of Varna since 2014 and Chief Assistant Professor since 2022.
She graduated in Medicine from the Medical University of Pleven in 1997. Dr Cvetkova acquired a specialty in Medical Parasitology in 2019, and a doctorate degree in Parasitology and Helminthology in 2021 оn the topic 'Clinical, Epidemiological and Therapeutic Aspects of Toxocarosis in North-Eastern Bulgaria'.
Ch. Assist. Dr Cvetkova conducts educational courses on medical parasitology for fifth-year medical students, medical laboratory technicians, nurses, and midwives.
She has over 25 scientific publications and more than 20 participations in international and national scientific forums on topics related to the ethiology, clinical aspects, diagnosis, treatment and epidemiology of parasitic diseases.
