Areas of scientific and research activity:

Research on oxidative status and antioxidant protection, nutritional and metabolic adaptation, biochemistry of nutrition and related socially significant diseases, with over 150 scientific publications in the field. She is the supervisor of a large number of successfully defended PhD students and is the coordinator of dozens of scientific projects related to nutrigenomics and clinical biochemistry. Her international research activity contributes to the creation of a strong scientific research unit and group in nutrigenomics at the Medical University of Varna.
