Krasimira Laleva was born in Shumen, Bulgaria. She graduated successfully from High School “Nikola Jonkov Vaptsarov" in Shumen with foreign languages – English and French. She obtained a Bachelor`s degree in Health Management at the Medical University “Prof. Dr. Paraskev Stoyanov" – Varna, Bulgaria in 2007, after that she upgraded her education and qualifications. She obtained a Master`s degree in Health Management at the Medical University – Varna and Master`s degree in Public Health at Maastricht University, the Netherlands in 2009. In 2016 she defended her dissertation on the topic: “An Assessment of Rising Demand for Professional Caregivers" and obtained a Doctorate in Public Health at the Medical University – Varna. She acquired specialty in “Medical Informatics and health Management" in 2017.
She started her academic career in 2010 as a part-time Assistant the Department of “Social Medicine and Healthcare Organisation", Faculty of Public Health, Medical University – Varna. After a successful competition in 2011, she was recruited as a full-time Assistant and after that she became Chief Assistant Professor in 2017 in the same Department where she currently works.
Since 2013, she has been a course supervisor for students in the specialty "Health Services Management", Bachelor's Degree, 1st year at the Faculty of Public Health.
She participates in training students in Bulgarian and English-language programmes in the following specialties: "Medicine" and "Dental Medicine" disciplines "Social Medicine and Biostatistics" and "Computer Engineering", in addition, he also teaches in the disciplines "Medical Statistics and Informatics" and "Social Medicine" in the specialty "Health Care Management" and "Informatics" in the specialty "Kinesitherapy", etc. She is a scientific supervisor of graduates from the master's program in " Health Services Management".
