The Fourth Academy for Young Specialists in Cardiology, which was held under the auspices of the Bulgarian Society of Interventional Cardiology (BULSIC), took place in the city of Samokov, Bulgaria, from 20th to 22nd June 2025. In the framework of the forum Dr. Rozen Grigorov, member of the team of the Second Clinic of Cardiology - Invasive at UMHAT "St. Marina" - Varna, won the national competition for a grant for training young interventional cardiologists at an established centre abroad.
The award-winning clinical project of Dr. Grigorov is entitled:
"Myocardial Ischemic Syndromes through the Eyes of a Young Cardiologist - Success and Challenges" and was distinguished among numerous developments admitted to the competition programme. This recognition is a token of the high professionalism, scientific approach and commitment of young specialists in the field of Interventional Cardiology.
