The discipline Orthodontics is studied by students of IV and V year with a total of 225 hours (lectures - 75 hours, practical exercises - 150 hours). Students in the IV year are given pre-clinical exercises related to the methods of diagnosis in orthodontics and the construction of basic orthodontic appliances. In course V, students conduct treatment of patients with mobile appliances under the guidance of assistants. The training ends with a practical and theoretical examination. In the sixth year of their education, a state internship in Orthodontics of 15 days duration is conducted and a state examination is passed.
The training of the postgraduate students is carried out according to a 3-year program, in accordance with the adopted in our country training program in orthodontics of the postgraduate education, in accordance with the Erasmus project.
