Dr. Tsvotomir Yankov graduated from the Medical University of Varna in 2014. In 2016 he was enrolled as a resident at the Clinic of "Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine" of UMBAL "St. Marina" city. Varna. In 2020 he was appointed as an assistant professor to the Department of Physiotherapy, Rehabilitation and Thalassotherapy, Faculty of Public Health. He acquired a specialty in "Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine" in 2021. He completed postgraduate qualification courses in "Laser Therapy" (Medical University of Sofia, 2021). In 2024, he defended his PhD on the topic “Study on the combined use of high-energy laser and manual therapy in patients with functional thoracic spine disorders”. He is a member of the Association of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the Bulgarian Society of Manual Medicine. His main professional and scientific interests are in the field of manual medicine and laser therapy. He has published scientific papers and participated in courses and scientific congresses in manual therapy.
