The research activity at the Teaching and Research Sector (TRS) for Internal Medicine is diverse and includes scientific work in the fields of clinical immunology, rheumatology, nephrology, pulmonary diseases, neurology, and psychiatry. Over the past year, TRS staff have participated with presentations in 7 international and 13 national scientific forums. A total of 30 publications have been written, 11 of which were published in international journals. The neurology faculty have contributed with presentations at Bulgarian neurology forums and with posters at international congresses.
