The Internal Medicine Sector provides training in internal medicine for dental medicine students during the 7th and 8th semesters, with a total of 90 academic hours.
The study program in internal medicine are regularly updated in accordance with the latest developments in medical science. The participation of faculty members in national and international scientific forums enables the integration of diagnostic and treatment consensus guidelines into the teaching programs. A textbook on internal medicine for dental medicine students is currently in preparation. Programs are also being developed for the introduction of modular education for students, as well as electronic testing for semester examinations.
The Teaching Unit of Pediatric and Infectious Diseases has published a textbook on pediatrics for dental medicine students, authored by Associate Professor Dr. D. Bliznakova.
