Nikoleta Ivanova graduated high school in the town of Sliven. In 2007 she obtained a bachelor's degree in "Biology" and in 2009 obtained a master's degree in "Ecology and Ecosystem Protection" at Plovdiv University "Paisiy Hilendarski". Professional development as an assistant in the Department of Biology at Medical University Varna "Prof. Dr. Paraskev Stoyanov" started in 08.2013. Assistant Ivanova successfully defended a PhD thesis on: "Quantitative and qualitative characteristics of autologous platelet concentrates and the role of proteins in them" and became doctor in Biology.
From 2022 she works as a chief assistant in the Department of Biology and manage a scientific project financed by the Science Fund at Medical University Varna on topic "Methods for obtaining autologous platelet concentrates and their quantitative and qualitative characterization".
Main research interests are in microbiology and medical genetics.
