Stanislava Pavlova was born in Varna. In 1998 she graduated from Medical college- Varna. In 2001 she obtained a Bachelor's degree in Speech Therapy at the "Ep. K. Preslavski" Shoumen University, then in 2003 a master's degree in speech therapy with a diploma work- "Diagnosis and correction of communicative disorders". Since 2003 she has been an assistant professor at the Department of Special Pedagogy at the "Ep. Konstantin Preslavski" Univeristy. In 2004 she became an assistant professor at the Department of Social Medicine and Organization of Health Care at the Medical University - Varna, and from 2007 an assistant professor at the Department of Health Care. In 2009 she became a senior assistant, and since 2010 - a chief assistant. She completed a three-year specialization in "Medical Pedagogy". She defended her dissertation and obtained the educational and scientific degree "Doctor" in the scientific specialty "Social Medicine and Organization of Health Care and Pharmacy" in 2014. Since 2016 she holds the academic position of Associate Professor. From 2017 Stanislava Pavlova is the head of the Board of Health Care Management and Speech Therapy at the Department of Health Care Management. In 2019 she was elected Head of the Department of Speech and Language Therapy
Stanislava Pavlova teaches in the undergraduate programs in Speech Therapy, Health Care Management, Nursing and Midwifery, as well as the graduate programs in Health Care Management and Public Health Protection and Control.
Research interests are in the areas of speech-language pathology, health care management; medical pedagogy and teaching methodology; health education and health education; professional communication and interaction in health care; pedagogical activity and professional formation in the field of health care. She is the author of a monograph "Professional environment and nurse behaviour".She participates in the organizational and administrative activities of the Faculty council at the Public Health Faculty at MU – Varna and she is a member of working groups and committees.
Chair of the Program Board for the Health Care Management specialty and the Program Board for the Speech-Language Pathology specialty.
She is the author of a number of publications and contributions to scientific conferences and forums at home and abroad, with major developments in the field of communication and interaction in health care, health care management, pedagogy, medical pedagogy and methodology, health education of patients, etc.
