For the second year in a row, a team of paediatric endocrinologists, headed by Prof. Dr. Violeta Yotova and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sonya Galcheva, and orthopaedists, headed by Prof. Dr. Dimitar Raykov and Assist. Prof. Dr. Miroslav Raykov presented a scientific report with which they acquainted the orthopaedic community with the most characteristic signs and facets of some rare paediatric diseases.
The presentation took place during the traditional "Days of Paediatric Orthopaedics and Traumatology", held in the city of Tryavna. The report presented guidelines and markers for early diagnosis of some rare diseases and their therapeutic features.
The presenting team of MU-Varna gained the recognition of the specialists attending the forum for the valuable information and multidisciplinary team approach to children with rare diseases in Bulgaria.
