MU-Varna participated in the National Meeting-Seminar of Academic Media and Public Relations Experts of Higher Education Institutions in Bulgaria, which was held in three panels online. The webinar was organized by the University of Ruse "Angel Kanchev", with the support of Az-buki National Publishing House - Ministry of Education and Science and under the patronage of the Minister of Education and Science.
Representatives of 25 Bulgarian universities took part in the online conference. The head of the Department of Communications and Television at MU-Varna Velina Markovska received an invitation to participate in the second panel of the event, and she acquainted the audience with the media of MU-Varna in a 10-minute presentation and shared experience related to the interaction between institutional media and the public.
At the end of the meeting the University of Ruse "Angel Kanchev" urged the participants in the National Meeting-Seminar of Academic Media and Public Relations Experts of Higher Education Institutions in Bulgaria to unite around the idea of establishing an Association of Academic Media and Public Relations (AAMPR ), supported by the Ministry of Education and Science through Az-buki National Publishing House and by the Council of Rectors of Higher Education Institutions in Bulgaria.
