Medical, moral, ethical, legal and life values of organ donation were discussed by the students at MU-Varna with the donor coordinator for Veliko Turnovo Dr. Sibila Marinova - head of the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care at Regional Hospital “Dr. Stefan Cherkezov” and the Varna coordinators Prof. Dr. Viliyan Platikanov – head of the Clinic of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care and Dr. Valentin Marinchev from UMHAT “St. Marina”.
The event was part of the campaign “Yes! For Life” and was organized by the Association of Medical Students in Bulgaria - Varna. The experts provided answers to plenty of questions related to organ donation that provoked students’ interest in the overcrowded hall at MU-Varna.
The doctors received certificates from the Association of Medical Students in Bulgaria - Varna for their dedication and commitment to the campaign “Yes! For Life”.
