The participants from MU-Varna fascinated all guests with their incredible talent. “Diana” Student Dance Ensemble, Ivelina Delcheva, Sezgin Alkov, “Infarctus” Theatre Troupe and Atanas Kolev brought the audience to their feet with their fascinating performances.

The Rector Prof. Dr. Krasimir Ivanov, the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Prof. Dr. Albena Kerekovska, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Prof. Dr. Zlatislav Stoyanov, the Dean of FPH Assoc. Prof. Dr. Klara Dokova and the Director of Medical College - Varna Prof. Dr. Dimitrichka Bliznakova were a part of the delegation of MU-Varna, which visited the city of Pleven. The Mayor of Pleven Mr. Georg Spartanski, the Rector of MU-Pleven Prof. Slavcho Tomov, the Rector of MU-Plovdiv Prof. Stefan Kostyanev, and the academic management of almost all medical universities in Bulgaria were among the audience during the Festival day.

The organizers from MU-Pleven managed to make all the guests a part of the festival spirit with the rich programme they had created. With a festive parade and presentation of the participants on the stage at "Vazrazhdane" Square on 10th May, the festival days were launched. The light show around St. George the Victorious Chapel-Mausoleum, dating back to 1907, on the occasion of the 45th Anniversary of Medical University - Pleven and the Festival was another surprise, expected by all visitors. After the end of the concert the guests from all medical universities could also see the emblematic Pleven panorama, as well as the galleries and museums in the city. The Festival coincided with the celebration of the holiday of the city of Pleven on the Day of the Holy Brothers Cyril and Methodius, as well as with the Night of the Museums.

During the official dinner it became clear that the Fourth Festival of Medical Universities would take place in the city of Stara Zagora in 2020, and would be hosted by the Faculty of Medicine at the Thracian University.
