Modern trends and clinical aspects of health care, current issues in the field of health care and student training in Public Health and Health Care - were the focus of the Second International Conference “Health Care - Contribution to the Quality of Life”, organised by the Department of Health Care at the Faculty of Public Health at Medical University - Varna, together with UMHAT "St. Marina" - Varna.
More than 180 participants took part in the event, which was held on 7th and 8th June 2019, at Estreya Residence Hotel, St. St. Constantine and Helena Resort. The scientific programme included more than 80 reports by highly-esteemed medical practitioners, representatives of organizations and educational institutions from our country and abroad, lecturers, PhD and undergraduate students.
Guests at the event were Mrs. Milka Vasileva - President of the Association of Health Care Professionals in Nursing, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Neviyana Feschieva - President of the Bulgarian Association of History of Medicine, Prof. Semiha Akin - Head of Fundamentals of Nursing Department at the Nursing Faculty at the Istanbul University of Health Sciences, Turkey, Assoc. Prof. Concepción Capia-Díaz, University of Granada, Spain.
The forum is a wonderful opportunity both for sharing expertise, reviewing the results achieved, and getting acquainted with the latest health care achievements needed for the success of the practical, scientific and training activities.
