Dear Students and Doctoral Candidates,
It is an honour for me to congratulate you on the 65th anniversary of our University — a history that began on 1 October 1961 and continues to be written today through the work of our lecturers and scholars, the professionalism of our physicians and healthcare professionals, the energy and ideas of our students, and the commitment of all those who contribute to the life of the University each and every day.
Over the course of these 65 years, Medical University – Varna has undergone profound changes. We have broadened the scope of our educational programmes, advanced scientific research, built modern infrastructure, and attracted students and partners from across the world. Today, we are a University with the confidence to foster new ideas and to seek our place where the medicine of the future is being created.
I extend my gratitude to everyone who is part of MU – Varna and who contributes to its development! I would also like to thank our students – for their energy, curiosity and courage to explore new paths! On this special day, I also extend my greetings to all those who have been part of the great academic family of our University and have left their mark upon its journey!
I wish you good health, inspiration and countless reasons to take pride in all that we accomplish together!
