An exhibition
dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Medical College – Varna is
arranged at the entrance of the Sea Garden of the city. Black and white, and
colour photographs have captured important moments and faces of the history,
everyday life, and the development of the College.
Medical
College – Varna, as a part of the structure of Medical University
“Prof. Dr. Paraskev Stoyanov” – Varna, boasts a long
history and traditions. For eight decades the College has educated more than
17 000 health professionals who have been working successfully all over
the country and abroad.
It offers
training in Professional Bachelor Degree in eight programmes: Assistant
Pharmacist, Medical Laboratory Assistant, X-Ray Laboratory Assistant,
Dental Technician, Public Health Inspector, Rehabilitation Therapist, Medical
Cosmetician and Medical Optician.
The excellent
conditions for conducting educational and research activities meet the modern
requirements for quality of training. This makes the College a preferred
educational institution, proof of which is the fierce competition during the
entrance examinations, namely eight-ten applicants competing for one place in each
of the programmes in MC – Varna.
The photographic
exhibition is implemented with the support of the Culture and Spiritual
Development Directorate of Varna Municipality. Citizens and guests of the city
can see it at the entrance to the Sea Garden until 30th September.
