Free usage of Web of Science Research Assistant is now available. The access is available under an agreement between the Ministry of Education and Science and Clarivate.
The Web of Science Research Assistant is a generative AI-powered tool integrated into the Web of Science platform to accelerate research, literature reviews, and discovery. Users can ask research questions directly in multiple languages to get immediate, relevant summaries with citations, rather than relying solely on keyword queries.
The assistant provides interactive, step-by-step guidance for complex tasks like literature reviews, topic exploration, and identifying appropriate journals.
It generates on-demand visualizations, including topic maps, citation network maps, and publication trends, to help researchers identify key themes, gaps, and influential researchers.
Responses are based on over 120 years of high-quality, indexed bibliographic data, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
The tool helps in finding relevant journals for publication by analyzing manuscript titles and abstracts. It also enables the analysis of research trends, such as tracking research growth over time and analyzing co-citations. It helps researchers to spend more time on interpreting results and less time on manual searching and data organization.
