Hundreds of Varna Citizens Visited the Museum of the History of Medicine during the European Night of Museums

The Museum of the History of Medicine took part in the initiative “European Night of Museums" this Saturday with a rich programme of demonstrations and experiments prepared by scientists and students at Medical University–Varna. Many citizens and guests of Varna applauded the dancers from the University Folklore Ensemble “Diana", who opened the event at 6 pm sharp. The courtyard and halls of the museum were full to the brim with curious visitors who had come, on that Saturday evening, to get acquainted with the rich and unique exhibition, and the interest did not subside until almost midnight.

Great interest among the visitors was provoked by the demonstrations performed by scientists of the Department of Anatomy, who presented 3D-visualisation and precise simulation of the structure of the human body, and the spectacular tests and experiments of chemical reactions presented by lecturers at the Department of Chemistry and students at Medical University–Varna. The programme was observed with great interest by both children and adults.

The Museum of the History of Medicine is about to start receiving visitors within new, extended working hours.
