The 25th Jubilee Annual Assembly of International Medical Association Bulgaria (IMAB) is to be held from 14th to 17th May 2015 at the Congress Center of Admiral Hotel, Golden Sands Resort, under the patronage of the Rector of Medical University - Varna Prof. Dr. Krasimir Ivanov.
The Second International Conference of the Alumni Club of Medical University- Varna with former students of Alma Mater worldwide will be held during the event as well. The Assembly programme also includes satellite forums of orthopedists, oncologists, neurologists, hematologists, immunologists and dental practitioners. Approximately 400 participants, 150 of them coming from abroad, are expected to attend the conference.
A historical retrospective under the slogan "25 Years of IMAB - and Still Going Strong" will be presented at the opening ceremony of the forum, which will take place on 15 May at 9.00 h. A number of reputed Bulgarian and foreign medics will be awarded with the Jubilee Medal of IMAB.
One of the honorary guests of this unique forum will be Israel's Ambassador to Bulgaria H.E. Shaul Kamisa Raz, together with plenty of authoritative professors, directors of hospitals, presidents of medical societies and leading specialists from over 20 countries.
The President of IMAB and Chairman of the Alumni Club of MU-Varna Prof. Dr. Krasimir Metodiev (Honorary Consul of Israel in Bulgaria) has organized the annual assemblies of IMAB for a quarter of a century. The activities of IMAB are of great benefit not only to MU-Varna but also to the Bulgarian healthcare and medical science in general.
